Project updates

Hoop Greenhouses

They plan to construct the first greenhouses on committee members’ properties, then guide others in the construction of their own greenhouses.

POS Forums

Tim has been talking with Mark Morey about a "Growing Local Children"/Council of Elders mentoring project, and about possibly presenting this idea at our July Forum.

Pliny Park

Dora suggested that we make the maintenance of Pliny Park a community project, involving other organizations in town.

It was decided to hold the party Sun., June 10th, from 4-10 pm at the Kiwanis Shelter at Memorial Park. Breeze Verdant and his band will be asked to play from 7-10. This will be a potluck, and we’ll extend an invitation to individuals outside POS and to other local organizations.
