Local Roots Recipe Contest

Thanks to all who contributed through their time, culinary creativity, and support for locally grown foods - the contestants, the judges, and the businesses or merchants that donated prizes. The judges had their work cut out for them, or poured in soup bowls in some cases, in trying to determine the winners in this contest!  While we are all winners when local cooks use locally grown foods, the judges finally reached agreement on their top five favorites. Here is a list of the winners and their prize winning dishes.
